5 Reasons I Love Bloglovin'

I have only really started to understand how to use Bloglovin, says the blogging Grandma over here. I often tried to force myself to log in and use it but I found it confusing and "easier" to just remember all my favourite blogs. Frankly, there's nothing easy amount trying to remember multiple blog names and addresses and I am not sure what I was thinking trying to do this. You can follow me on Bloglovin' here. I am really starting to get the hang of it and use it daily

I am now lovin' bloglovin' (see what I did there?...) and I thought I'd share my top 5 reasons!

The Beauty Tag

I've seen the beauty tag floating around on bloglovin.com over the last couple of weeks so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and answer the questions myself. I love a good question and answer session.

Beauty Review: Sleek MakeUp Highlighting Palette in Solstice

Sleek Make Up has been grabbing my attention lately. I'd never bought from them before but after seeing a few 'wow' kind of products online, I was intrigued. I recently picked up this gorgeous highlighting palette for £10 and I have been pleasantly surprised with it, considering I didn't know what at all to expect. There are 3 shades of this palette to pick from which are Precious Metals, Midas Touch and the one I went with, Solstice. It was a tough call between Precious Metals and Solstice but the top right pink shade of this palette is what sold me, it's beautiful and with Spring just around the corner I thought it would be the perfect addition to my make up collection.

OOTD: The Statement Trenchcoat

My Trenchcoat is the perfect Primark find from last year. It's a statement piece for my wardrobe and I will wear time after time. Plus it only cost me £20. The length is over the knee which is different to majority of the trenchcoats I see making an appearance at this time of year. I enjoy that small difference. Finding key pieces like this is such a hard task in Primark so you have to be on high alert. Now that Spring is finally here peering through the rain clouds and frosty mornings, I can finally begin to wear my Spring wardrobe and box away my Parka coat and thick knits. Ok, I will admit I was chilly in my trench this day but it looked sunny outside and the coat completed the outfit... I couldn't resist.

Beauty Review: L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Varnish

I may have a lot of nail varnishes but I actually dislike painting my nails. Mainly because I know all it takes is for me to put on a pair of jeans to cause the first major chip to my varnish. Sometimes I wonder what the point is with painting my nails because they're so chip-able. I can't justify getting gel nails done every month anymore as I am tempting to save (somehow) so I was looking for something revolutionary to keep my nails looking colourful yet chip free like gel nails would. I found that within the Color Riche Nail Varnishes.

Beauty Review: Are The Kyle Lip Kits Worth The Hype?

The Kylie Lip Kit is an oh so popular beauty trend right now. It's sending people crazy to the point that they are buying these products for almost triple the price on eBay, just to get their hands on them. Selling out within 5 minutes is a great thing for Kylie, not a great thing for all us beauty obsessives and our bank cards. I managed to get my hands on Dolce K and Mary Jo K and I was far too excited for them to arrive. I had high expectations for these lip products but frankly, I was disappointed.

Lunch Out At Revolucion De Cuba in Milton Keynes

I was recently invited to a bloggers event at Revolucion De Cuba in Milton Keynes. Due to work commitments, I couldn't attend on the night but arranged to visit on the following weekend. The menu looked so delicious that I couldn't pass up an invitation.

OOTN: Celine Long Sleeve Swing Playsuit

When this beautiful playsuit hit my doormat I was very excited. I love clothes and fashion yet don't own many nice going out outfits. That could be because I don't go out as much as I used to (adulthood gave me bills to pay) but nevertheless, the feeling of getting dressed up and going out for a cocktail is a favourite feeling of mine. I've always felt more comfortable in playsuits and jumpsuits apposed to dresses so I knew instantly I'd love this. This Celine Long Sleeve Swing Playsuit is different to anything I've ever worn before with its dramatic drape back and flowing sleeves, but it's beautiful and it makes me feel beautiful. What more could you want in an outfit?

London Fashion Weekend

Being able to attend London Fashion Weekend is like getting a glimpse into London Fashion Week, something I may never attend. I say may to be polite to my feelings because I can't imagine I'd ever be as lucky to attend. London Fashion Weekend is an event for us normal people who can experience fashion, trends and the chic leftovers of Fashion Week. I went along with my friend Kirsty on the Friday of the event so that we'd miss the rush of the weekend and so we would be able to leisurely enjoy wondering around the beautiful Saatchi Gallery.
